Just had an issue with my Hanna tester that would not stay calibrated long enough to test my water. Hanna said they’d send me a new one.

Well, this turned me off on their products so I bought this Milwaukee MA887 from all the reviews on it and how it NEVER FAILS... I bought it brand new and just got it and watched the videos on how to calibrate it and everything. I would calibrate it with the distilled water it came with and it would read the solution it came with (1.025) as 1.028… so I used my own RODI water I make and calibrated it and tested it and same thing. So I thought wait I’ll use my Hanna calibration solutions I have a huge box I’ll never use now. Calibrate it to zero, test the Hanna solution and it reads 1.018?!?! I just don’t know what to do, all of these products are just junk. Is there something else even better than the Milwaukee? I feel like I need to buy a laboratory full of scientists to get an accurate reading of my salinity.

Money isn’t an issue, I’ll spend up to $1,000 on a tester if it’s that good.
