Mimic 10,000k with AI Prime 16HD

I'm interested in trying out 10,000k spectrum lighting because I like the look better than the blue, but trying to mimic the spectrum off of a diagram is difficult. Does anyone have settings they could share that would help

These lights aren't designed to hit 10,000k, well not without a lot of power loss.
To prove this shut off all blues and violets (inc UV).

Raise blue (not royal blue) to about 25-30%.
That should be sort of close to 10,000k

Just the cool white and 12% blue is about the same.
 
Yes...but keeping green and red give you a closer T5 10000k look.
Green is sort of neutral in k calcs .

10000k can be made with all sorts of
colors which will average 10000k.

White leds adjust color temp using a yellow or yellow/ green phosphor with a blue photon pump . When you want really low K they add some red phosphors.

If you want to do it fancy ..start with the above white/ blue .
See if the overall tone is slightly blue .

Should look something like this:

Then add green to taste.
Then add red. If color gets whiter .add more blue.
Sort of doesn't' matter which blue.
Royal is the usual but overpowering which is why I picked reg blue.
Violets well tone shifts to just a purple over blue
It's an eye thing . violet is still blue but the lower wavelengths stimulate the red receptors in your eye making that deep deep blue look red- blue .ie violet.

Bottom line though is some 10000k look good, some crappy, some blue, some violet.
You need to keep that in mind when choosing it.

Using generic diodes.. 2 ways to make 10,000k with 2 different looks..

Keep in mind different diodes and different drivers will shift things here and there soo it's all a starting point.
Most bulbs (t5, MH's) ratings are errr.. wishful thinking most of the time. t5's are generally good at 10000k or less. After that it's all sort of a game.
