Mimic Tang and Foxface Rabbitfish

If I introduce these two to my reef tank at the same time what are the chances of them getting along ?

There is no guarantee with any fish really but you should be alright. You could use acclimation boxes and put each one in the tank (in their own box). That was both the Tang, the Foxface and all the others in the tank can get used to each other.

Drastically increases your success rate imo.

Thanks so much !

No problem at all.

Post some pictures of both fish when you can so we can all see them in your tank!

I think it will be okay, too.

The tank is on the small end of the spectrum for either. Introduce at the same time, and feed well. I also wouldn't recommend adding other tangs to the mix.

I think you’ll be fine if added together.

A lot of it depends on how handy your foxface is with it's venomous spines and if the tang gets the message. My One Spot doesn't hesitate to spike up if it sees something it doesn't like. When introduced to my tank, my Coral Beauty and Melanurus both swam over towards it as if to say "Hey this is our turf" in the standard new guy pecking order type thing. My Foxface took one look and flexed it's spines, the Coral Beauty and Melanurus both did an immediate about face and that was an end to it.
