Mimic tang has spots

So I noticed these spots on my mimic tang and it’s getting worse it’s not ich so idk what it is

I'm not sure exactly what the spots are yet. You'll want to watch them closely...if ich, those spots will disappear in a couple days and be replaced by other spots. Watch the fish for labored or rapid breathing.

Btw... that's a Tomini Tang, not a Mimic tang.

Weird that’s what it was sold to me as, and it does today it looked like lesions all over him

If you are getting more of the white raised spots, then possibly ich. A pic in white lights would help to identify. Either way, probably best to get a hospital tank ready just in case.

Google Mimic tang... there are many different colorations. But what you have is a classic Tomini Tang, also called a Flame Fin Tang. I have one as well that just came out of quarantine today.
