Mini bubble king 180 vs07 pump problem

Hi all
Pump on my Skimmer have start giving me a trouble start and stops every 10s. It is soaking in vinegar at the min to make sure there is no calcium deposit.
I will probably have to change that pump for new one.
I know that the pump body is exact same as laguna pond pump but what model will be equivalent for red dragon 800 pump

Max-Flo 1350 or the Max-Flo 1500 if you can find it. Just had to order the 1350 for mine too and will be doing the replacement this weekend.

I'll let you know after this weekend. It can't be louder than mine is now. The bearing in the back was the cause of my noise. I tried soaking it in pure vinegar for a couple of days and the bearing wouldn't even budge. I know it is the bearing too as I see a slight score mark on the rear of my impeller. Make sure that your impeller isn't swollen in any place. I have had a couple of impellers, not from Bubble King, that were swollen and showed symptoms like what you are seeing.

A couple of things you will have to do to get your new pump functional. You will have to remove the bottom plate from the old pump first. You might have to dremel excess plastic off the plate before attaching the new pump. Once that is done you will just superglue the new pump to the plate. You will also have to enlarge the holes on the pump to mount the volute.
