Let me warn you-Some of these can get around 8" or so,damage can be done with these,they can take a Tang out,mine did last night.

RIP...

The fish was perfectly healthy aswell,not a health related death at all....

Im not so mad about it,but I really really like Powder blue Tangs,and a $50 anemone took out a $80 fish,haha...I find that part kinda funny,but oh well,things happen,just beware.Im helping you out by posting this,haha

I don't think an 8" anemone is one of the Minis or Maxis. Do you have a pic of the nem?

haha,yes,they can get that big,they will reach larger sizes when they get that size.This was isnt a mini,the ones that split,this was a maxi,thats it,they can get large.

Its the same ones that Mike at Sexy Corals has,same sp. and every thing,with power feeding,they will grow.

Yup,the crash sucked,I cant belive the fish were fine though!I guess the temp and the ATO didnt effect them to bad...but,the anemone didnt even look effectd by the crash,oh well...he "might" be gone now...hahaha

They can definitely get quite large. I've got a maxi mini from Mike that's now about 6" when fully opened. Sure is a purdy killer though...

yeah..heres a pic of my picasso got eaten by a 1 inch red mini carpet that just split...the picasso is 2 inches

I was really thinking about a couple mini maxi's but after this...I'm just gonna say no...lol. I plan on having a lot of smaller fish along with some pipe fish and they would definitely make a nice snack for these carpets.

Pipe fish would make a great snack for these guys.Im not going to buy another one for a while unless I have HUGE fish,like 10+ inches.

Wow, that sucks Austin. Sorry to hear about this. I've got two, one of which is 6 inces or so. I guess I ve been lucky most of my fish see them and seem to stay clear.
