I am planning on getting a mini carpet nem for my nearly year old tank. I am planning on doing a temp and drip acclimation but im not quite sure for how long to do both. I usually do 30 minutes of temp acclimation and 30 minutes drip.

I think there are several factors and several schools of thought. I personally think it has more to do with the source water and the water it's going in to. Also how long it's been in the source water (was it shipped so it's been in overnight or more or did you pick it up locally so it hasn't been in very long). If it was in fact shipped, the quicker you can get it out of the bag the better. If local, you have a little more flexibility. Test the source water to see how closely it matches your tank's (at least salinity and maybe pH) and let that be your guide for dripping acclimation after temperature acclimation. My $02 anyway and I'm sure others will vary.
