Recently just bought this! Any tips ?

I put mine on a rock in the sand and it moved off the rock into the sand up against the rock, hasn't moved since. Maybe it's on the rock but sure looks like it's foot is in the sand

They don't split. I have 8 of then in my nem tank. Half of them stayed where I initially placed them. The others found a place they liked and haven't moved since. I have some on the top of the rocks some in the sand.

They don't seem to sting other corals but dear lord don't touch them! Nasty sting they have! Won't split...apparently you can propagate but cutting but that just seems mean!
I touched with barely hands when I put it on top of my rockman I should watch out.

Maybe you are immune!? I laid my forearm against one once on accident and had the nastiest rash for what seemed forever! It was a learning curve...but I LOVE anemones!

I haven't observed mine to sting other corals but yes they are quite sticky if you touch them with your finger.

As others have said they will likely move a bit when first added to the tank in search of a good spot to live but after that they tend to stay put. They're nothing like bubble tips in that regard.

I've never heard of one splitting.
