Mini refugium

Purchased a IM 20 gallon peninsula. Was looking to do a mini refugium I seen online. Purchased started pack from Algaebarn and received Sea lettuce, thinking it was to be chaeto. Can the sea lettuce be put in media bag? It seems to overflow into tank!

As long as it can get light I'd say it'd be okay. I've kept sea lettuce from algae barn before and it tend floats more than sinks but certain portions were definitely always submerged and seemed fine.

They didthat to me also, said i ordered Sea Lettuce but I did not. They substitute is Chaeto is out of stock. Check on Friday afternoons when they get it, it sells fast!
