***Tiny Creatures in your tank...

Just thought I would take the time to take pictures of mini little things in the tank that get over looked because of all the other cool stuff in our tanks.
I think this would be a cool thread to show everyone what is out there living in our tanks. Also babies that we are growing from coral...

So here it goes... If you have mini's post them here and see some weirdness and cuteness... What ever it is the world of mini's is what make our tanks cleaner.

Canon t2i with regular 18x55mm lens with the setting on no flash... Other than that I have no idea what I'm doing...hope this helps :)

Cool post! Makes me want to break out my dslr and start shooting! Love taking macro shots, especially ones of things that's hard to see with the naked eye!

You should... it's so much fun to realize that there is so much more than what we see with the eye... I am loving my camera that I got my Wife! hahahaha

7 possible aptasia
8 barnicle
9&10 looks like flatworm of the pod eating variety.

Sorry niftyjosh... I've dealt with my share of Aptasia and that the seventh pic in not it... I have some in one of my tanks right now... just haven't gotten down to the LFS to get me another pep shrimp to kill it...

yeah I really LOVE My t2i as well, Ive had mine since it first came out 2 years ago! you should really consider a dedicated Macro lens if u like taking shots of tiny things in ur tank. I use a 100mm f1.8 MACRO and 50mm f2.8 macro. the difference in clarity and detail compared to the "stock" walk around 18-55mm EFS is outrageous! IMHO lens is KEY, also consider picking up a tripod if u havent done so... otherwise u take beautiful pics!!!

Hey thanks for the information... I will have to wait and I am sure that the lens is steller compared to the one I am shooting with... I should use the tripod more often but my 11 month old won't let me use it... and thank you for the comment... I will be posting more pics when I see something new pop up in the tank.

Thanks! I didn't see anything like it and I am always looking at the smaller stuff in my tanks.
