We all know quarantine can be pretty stressful on a fish, typically smaller tanks, minimal places to hide, not as much flow, etc.

I'm just wondering what, if anything a person can do to minimize the stress on fish in quarantine?

The ones I know, Pvc pipes and fittings for the fish to hide in, low or natural lighting, I think I read something somewhere on here earlier about using plastic plants?

So far I have actually only had a little maroon clown in QT, but he's content to just hang out in a corner by the heater. I'm more concerned about fish that get stressed out easily.

My QT is a smaller reef tank with live rock, sand and even a few corals. I also keep cleaner shrimp in it and neon gobies almost all the time. I drop the salinity when ever adding new fish to match the water they come in. It is mostly for observation for 3 months. If need be I can remove the rock and sand if I need to medicate the tank with anything requiring I do so.
