Minimum photoperiod for cheato

I have low nutrients so don’t want to run lights on Fuge for long periods will one hour a day keep chaeto alive if not what’s the minimum I can get away with?

I can't imagine it'll do well with one hour a day. I would bump it up to like 8hrs (but then of course it'll take up nutrients (which is what it needs to do to survive)). If your nutrients are low you don't need the chaeto....

Another way is to just harvest most of it.
