Minor elevated toxic metals + rust, use Detox or not?

Zn 12 µg/l

My Triton report showed elevated toxic metals. I checked pumps + clamps and noticed a magnet probe holder where water seeped into the magnets. The question is whether it's worth running Triton detox or not?

The tank looks healthy, I lean towards a few more water changes than normal and no treatment. I already own Detox. Randy has mentioned the negative from Triton Detox binding everything. Given detox is primarily for Lead + Copper, and I have Zinc + Tin, thoughts?

could try running cuprazorb for a few days and then retesting

@Randy Holmes-Farley What's the level of zinc that should be in a reef tank? I know ESV trace metals has it in there along with the iron - what iron supplement do you use

I'm not sure either of those are high enough to be a problem.

Using a metal binder (detox, cuprisorb, metasorb, etc.) may be a benefit, but will lower other metals too, some of which might be already on the low side.
