How do you guys kill your palys that are overtaking other corals? I have an aiptasia zapper and kalk paste, but am looking for a more permanent solution. Is there another chemical that works better than kalk and other than laser, is there a better mechanical method for removal?

In the past, I've removed the rocks and dried them in the sun to kill the palys, but I'd like to not break down the tank.

Thanks for any suggestions.
Tom

I have taken my tweezers and ripped them off the rocks. Just do a little at a time.

I just make the kalk paste into a mud. It will pretty much dry over the palys. I just did my Jason fox nuclear greens and some other junk zoa. Then a week later go duck out of break up the kalk paste it turns into a hard shell

I have had the same problem getting rid of some coral that were encroaching on my sps. I tried the kalk paste method and Ty rebounded a week later.
