Happy Thanksgiving everyone (in the US).

Just had a quick thought.... Would it be of any good to mix a 50 pound bag of Ecosystem Miracle Mud in with 270 pounds of DT sand? Maybe to further seed the sand with whatever the Mud does?

I know it's usually for refugiums, which I will never have again, but has anybody ever added it to the DT sand? Are there any benefits to doing this?

I'd be curious to read if you try it. I was thinking about the same thing a couple of weeks ago.

I run it under a layer of marine pure which is under a layet of chaeto in my algae reactor which is full of pods.

I think its too thin for a DT, if you look in its direction it stirs up into the water column

I agree, it would cause a cloud storm with powerheads running.
