Miracle mud

Its s good product especially if mangroves are planted in it but not essential especially at its’ cost

In the display, sump, or refugium? If I were to use it I would personally place it in a refugium in trays. I'm fairly certain it is supposed to be changed out once a year so youd want to make that easy in yourself. There are some great benefits to it. Paletta noted that it completely healed fish with chronic HLLD. No doubt when established it can really hold a massive amount of micro organisms. Curious as what others think.

I installed miracle mud in Refugium of my eshopps 300 during tank start up last decemeber. I only have some rubble and cheato with mud. I really can’t tell if it’s been worth it or not. I haven’t seen any bad affects from using though .Wish I could help but I would like to hear from others about this .

I would put it. In the sump I also heard u wouldnt need a skimmer but don’t know how true that is would like to hear what others that have it are doing as far as a skimmer

So as most know I have a Red Sea reefer 750xxl that I’m starting up What do you think of using miracle mud good bad not worth it?
At this time, using mineral mud. Looks like black sands to me. I preferre miracle mud. It looks like it has more natural elements in it. Here's some of my children of the sea

2 of 33 carnation corals, dendronephthya sp.

I run a skimmer with miracle mud . I do not believe a skimmer would have a negative effect with mud.
