I’m looking to get back rolling and I’m between these two makers. The tank won’t be more than 55” long. I really like eurobraced for splashing and stability reasons. I’m really just wanting to know if anyone has experience with one or both of these guys. If you have any other makers please let me know. Thanks guys! Have a great Memorial Day and give thanks to those who served!

Planet Aquarium out of Texas is who I am going with on my custom built 600. They have awesome customer support, and stand behind their tanks. Glass Cages are not what they used to be, their support has gone way down hill the last few years as well as their work, the last tank I saw from glass cages looked like a 3 year old did the silicone work. I nave no experience with the other brand.

These two businesses shouldn’t be used together. Totally different planets in terms of service, craftsmanship, warranty, etc.

If you want the cheap route then go glass cages
If you want the long term route then go anywhere else.

Love my Miracles tank. It's still dry but its awesome. I did have a few very minor issues but those were mostly my own fault for not being clear in my wishes. IMO a VERY good option and at a reasonable price as well.

I echo miracles and GC are not in the same league. I have two custom miracles tanks, on one of them the external overflow acrylic was cut too tight, so when it expanded the overflow started dripping.

I contacted them, they didn't ask what stand it was or even how old it was. The owner flew down to Iowa and fixed it personally since there isn't a glass place or lfs in this town that would do the repair.

Total cost? $0.

Hard to beat that level of service.

I’ve seen a lot of custom tanks. For glass, Miracles and C2C make the most aesthetically appealing ones to me. Whether they’ll last longer than glass cages I cannot say, but they’ll do it with more style LOL.

I have a 7 foot x 3 foot 360 viewing miracles all starfire glass aquarium and love it. 400 g dt... new time I would do a ten foot x 4 foot...

My tank was made by Miracles in 2017. I’m very happy with it and they were very easy going to work with.

Beautiful. I had seriously considered a drop off from them but the extra deep end gave me snorkel cleaning nightmares!

Thanks! Haha it’s only 24” deep so I don’t have to wear goggles, fortunately!! it’s still a pain to reach the bottom sometimes because I made the stand really tall LOL.

My new build is 17" deep and that's even a little deep for my liking lol so even at 24" its snorkelish to me ;):p

Miracles is custom. Glass cages is not. More of a mass produced product and delivered differently than shipped directly to your door. There is going to be a pretty large price difference between the two also.

I think if I was you I would write a list of pro and con and go from there. Today GC would arrive sooner. Custom is going to have a lead time. Then there is overall craftsmanship. So again you have to make that list and decide. I went custom with another vendor and very happy and glad I did.

Edit: not knocking either vendor - just trying to put it into perspective. Sort of like buying a car to go to the store and buy a gallon of milk. There is the Yugo and then there is the Jaguar. Both will get you to the store and buy a gallon of milk. However, the similarities end putting gas in it or air in the tires. One will get you there, the other will get you there faster and in more style.
