Question regarding taking photos of Fish swimming

Will I be better off going with a mirror less camera since they are faster?

Im just looking for something on the inexpensive end and found a canon m50 locally thats like new and comes with the kit lens but also the adapter to use lenses from the dslr line of canon cameras.

Will also be doing some video so I have to keep that in mind.

I know size is a huge difference but other then that will I be better off going mirror less?

I think you’d be better off mirrorless. M50 is a nice starter camera, one thing is look into is the future development, I don’t know how much support the ef-m lenses will get in the future. But that doesn’t make it a bad camera, I had one for a little bit actually.

Pair it up with a 50/1.8 and an ef to ef-m adapter and you should be good to go.

its definitely better for video but not necessarily for pictures especially tank pictures where quality will be a bit compromised by glass..... size and weight is of course better with mirrorless as well.
