I didn't get anything cause i figured it was most likely gone because there was no contact number or email i think the person just left the stuff on the curb for anyone.

No, but credit cards and debit cards are easily stolen and used quickly.

That can be done at any time. No need to lure victims with fake craigslist ads and leave a digital paper trail.
