OK so I have/had a Haitian anemone me for about 3.months now it has been in the same approve I put it in my tank looking happy and healthy. Saturday morning I turned my tank lights on and it is nowhere to be found I still have not found it I've checked everywhere moving rocks, checking sand, and the back of my aquarium and it's nowhere. My parameters in my tank are all good I haven't add anything new to my tank or done anything to bother it. Has this happens to anyone else or anyone know why this happened? Also since it's nowhere to be found are there any signs I would be watching my tank for to know if it died?

Unless the tank is very small and the anemone very large I would not move scape to find it. Anemones can shrink down and move into tiny holes, and crevices. Of course look into over flows and sumps, powerheads, heaters.....Condy's move unfortunately.
You can simply test for ammonia if your corals or fish look stressed and do a water change if need be but I am confident the anemone will either show up or not and no harm will come to your tank if chemistry is in line.

I forgot to add Its a 29 gallon biocube HQI and the anemone is only about 3 inches

Mine hide when they split, but they're rbta
