Hey there! Im new to the reef world. My tank is finally cycled after patiently waiting and yesterday I added 2 snowflake clowns and 4 hermits no bigger than my fingernail. This morning everything was good and I came home from work to a missing clown. I have looked everywhere for it and its nowhere to be found. Is it possible it died and the hermits disposed of him that quickly? They are so small that it seems unlikely to me. I checked all the parameters and everything is perfect.

I wouldn't think the hermits could dispose of him that quickly. If your tank has an overflow of any kind have you checked in there? Clownfish, especially when small, are notorious for ending up inside the overflow.

I checked in all the equipment and all around the tank in case he was a jumper. Theres no sign of him anywhere. :(

No overflows. Its a 55 gallon with 60 pounds of LR. No animals couldve got near the tank as its in my finished basement and the door is always closed.
