Well I'm home sick on this Monday and decided to do a small wc this morning, no big deal as I'm only messing with the sump for this procedure and after the lights came on I clean my ph screans as it has been a while and went to feed and the smaller of two clownfish is mia!

This morning they were both in their normal spot together and now the lights are on and after a light feeding nothing!

Background note, these two are inseparable and are always out never hide and aren't bashful. Will swim into your hand if working in tank.

Thought worse looked for jumper no sighn anywhere. Not in overflows or sump. I am at a loss. Parameters are spot on and the other fish are perfectly happy that I can see. I'm stumped. [emoji17]

Looks fine, I was typing this all out and saw it swimming in a cave and just came out and now the two are together again. Such a weird day. They never go into the rock work so I don't know what was going on but the scare is over.

Does seem odd for clowns. You may have scared it and not noticed. Mine do not like it when I am cleaning the tank or doing WC but they do stick together like glue.

Not sure I don't pay much attention since normally they don't care when I mess with the tank. I'm usually at work when lighting comes on so maybe this happens and I never knew about it too.

I t happened to me, my clown disappeared, and I looked everywhere in the tank, but he actually was sucked in and I found him swimming in the lower box where all my pipes are, lol,
