so... my clownfish is missing. Last night they looked healthy and now today there is only one. I visually scaned the tank, searched the filter, and even ripped all the rocks out, but still haven’t found her. My stocking is:
1 clownfish
1 royal gramma
1 cleaner shrimp
1 blue leg hermit crab
2 trochus snails
2 nassarius snails
My parrameters are:
Nitrate: 10
Nitrite : 0
Alkalinity: 180
Ph: 7.8
Salinity: 1.027
Ammonia: 0
She probably didnt jump out either because i have a tight fitting lid around the whole tank except for a narrow slit in the back, and to get to that she’d have to jump into the filter area and then out. Also i searched around the tank and didnt see anything.
One thing that may be mentionable is that they were doing the clownfish “shake” last night. Please help

Might be wedged in a rock somewhere, also do you have any anemones?

There are three possibilities either one she's wedged in a rock somewhere really good 2 even with the lid she still somehow managed to jump or three she died and your clean up crew took good care of her through the night

Had the same issue this week, found him swimming at the bottom of the overflow when I shined torch down into it for the second time that day. Managed to scoop him out with a net.

Mystery solved! The other one went missing too, and my dad found him in the pump intake. The poor thing. At least i now know whats been happening
