Went away for three days and came back to find my pincushion urchin missing in my 32 gallon biocube. When I left it appeared to be happy and healthy. Is it possible that it was attacked/consumed by a blue pistol shrimp? There is absolutely no sign of it to be found. I'm stumped.

If you don't see needles scattered around one of its entrances, then no. I think it's more likely that your urchin is exploring your aquascape.

Check the back chambers. I do not have a lid on my BC32 and my tux goes back there from time to time to munch on things lol.

There's a lot of times where my tuxedo seems to have completely disappeared. Half the time that just means it's in some spot that I can't see, but the other half the time it's somewhere *very* obvious, like walking across a rock right in front of me, but the algae it's picked up does an oddly good job of camouflaging it.
More often than not, if I check on it again an hour or two later, it'll be back where I can see it again.
