they can come out at night as well. or unless you are monitoring 24/7 - they can come out when you aren't looking?I just got a checkered wrasse...dripped him for an hour...soon as i put him in the tank he dove into sand bed ...havent seen him yet; its been a week

Don’t be alarmed. Same thing happened to me with my Leopard wrasse. He dove into the sand bed and he did not come out until 7 days later for the first time. Now he is out every single day with my light schedule. Worst thing you can do it’s try and find him by messing with the sand, just be patient!!I just got a checkered wrasse...dripped him for an hour...soon as i put him in the tank he dove into sand bed ...havent seen him yet; its been a week
I've had a wrasse in my tank for 4 years that thing goes MIA for weeks and I think its dead then that nut just pops out of nowhere zipping around lol. But I did qt him for 6 six weeks prior to putting the fish in the system not just a dip. good luck!!!I just got a checkered wrasse...dripped him for an hour...soon as i put him in the tank he dove into sand bed ...havent seen him yet; its been a week
A month is a long time. Are you sure he isn’t coming out at night when your lights are off and you just never see him? If not, at this point a month in I would have to go searchingits been almost a month...no sign of him...only nighttime predator is my strawberry crab..maybe he got him?
