Instead of T5s, thinking of getting 4x Mitras lightbar 2, 2 actinics and 2 deep actinics, along with main lights 4x mitras 7206s. Lightbars are to fill in shadowing. Will be on 200 display tank. Anyone else subbed out t5s with lightbars? Other than initial cost, what would be the drawbacks? T5s have been tried and tested but I dont know if the lightbars would be as beneficial as T5s.

I run 4 Mitras lightbars 2. IMO - it is the LED which is closest to T5 according to spread. However you can´t program the lead bars in an individual way. Your programming will be for the separate LEDs in all of the bars. However the Deep actinic - have only 8000 k white and one extra blue channel - the actinic have not the extra blue channel but - instead a 6500 white channel. In your case 2+2 is a good choose IMO

What is your 4 lightbar 2 set-up? How blue is your tank? Do you have pictures on your tank that you can post? If you have different lightbars, mind doing me a favor and posting pics of the tank with each different lightbar color on?

It's plenty of videos and pictures in my build thread. The last 1.5 years is with LB 2. I run rather white

I'll try to take some pictures later on.

My set up is 2 deep actinic 120 cm, 1 actinic 120 cm and 1 ocean blue 100 cm.

Sincerely Lasse
