Hey guys,

So I got the Mitras LX7 a year ago or so, and I'll be honest, I'm not even really sure that my light project is good/working. Anyone have any recommendations? I've gone to the GHL website and seen the shared projects, but I'm still not really sure if I'm on the right track.

For reference, 90G mixed reef. Running high efficiency mode at 85%.

Anyone with the Mitras want to share their light projects?

I have some that I have used with success. It will not let me attach them here so please send me your email and I will send to you. The lighting schedule runs late since I am only home in evening, but simple edits cans shift the lighting period earlier. I also have freshwater LX7s that are nice as well, with lots of red and blue added to the whites.

Awesome. Would love to see it. I'll DM you my email.

Hi there I’d like to see what you have also. PM sent!

I created a spectral match to the Radion Coral AB+ schedule using a spectroradiometer for my Mitras LX 7206. I did not have access to a G4 Pro so the ultraviolet channel I left at 60% until I can find one to measure. I was using Vinnie's program previously. I left the color presets in light composer from @Vinny@GHLUSA 's program and added 14660K, 14330K, and 14000K, so the color temperature can be adjusted slightly if desired. I am using the 14660 setting, but if it is too blue the other ones don't really effect the spectral curve much from what I have measured but does create a whiter light. The Radion AB+ schedule is 7 hours with 1 hour ramp up and ramp down. I extended the ramp up and down to stretch it to 12 hours total. My max output power is currently 65%. The zip file contains the .lpc light composer file and the images show the other important settings.

I do understand GHL has an SPS program, but I am not clear on which one that is.

How do I download the file or what program do I use to upload the file?

It's been a while, but you use GHL composer to back up and load settings. Should be able to download the .zip file, open it up and load the setting into composer.

I figured it out. I was trying to use my Mac mini pc and it doesn’t have windows.
