Long story short:
-I was just doing my aquarium tests routine and accidentally mixed my RedSea test kits part C, their labels are almost identical in color and for the first time I didn’t read it and because I was in a rush I poured few ml of the Mg into the Ca. . Should I call this a lost and buy a new Ca test kit. Or are this two the same chemical mix.Thanks.

Yep, buy new kits or reagents only if available.

With that said, being the curious person I am, I'd keep the old ones and test once just to see if the results are way out of line with the new kits. I'd likely never rely on them but the novelty of knowing could be fun.

I was thinking the same thing, thanks.

Its probably fine but always be careful when mixing/using chemicals that otherwise were not intended to be combined.

I actually did the same but in reverse. Put some calcium in the magnesium. Went and bought a new mag kit. Compared results. Saw they were basically the same so I continue to use mag. Any time my mag results seem off I compare with the new kit.

Discard and start over
