Hey Everyone
I have a 6m old #Deskmate 4.8g tank that i cant seem to get good coloration with SPS. Everything seems to be growing ok and decent PE. Please take a look at my regamine and let me know if you think anything off.
Problem:
SPS have dull pigmentation. Acro (3 weeks) is newest member and slowly moved to the top. It lost most of its green coloration. Top Monti (5months) is growing rapidly but lost the original brown coloration from day 1. Hulk Digi (2 months) growing rapidly but lost its bright coloration, same for birdsnest
Other related or non-related problems:
Frogspawn is not extending as much as when i got it. But is splitting heads.
2 of the 3 Zoa frags are not producing new polyps or are extremely slow.
Regimen and Parameters:
Cal: 400
Mag:?
KH: 9
N03: 1-3ppm (was 0 until recent dosing)
P04: .02
Ph: 8.0
Sal: 1.025
Temp:79
Lighting: Ai prime, PAR tested. Top of tank is maxed at 300 and still on a ramp up acclimation
Flow: Mighty mini. Should be more than enough
Skimmer: Reef Glass
Filtration: Bio Balls and mechanical changed every 2 days
Other: ATO and AUTO Thermostat
WC: Every week 1-2G with Reef Crystals
Feed: 2x day Mysis, 1x day Copepods and or Phyto, 1x/2 days reef chili
Dose: 3.5ml AFR daily, 1 drop Microbacter 7 daily, 3 drops nitrate daily to keep around 5ppm
