Mixed reef livestock?

Wondering what type of fish I should get that aren't aggressive. I had a clown but he was extremely aggressive and killed my cardinal fish. Now my tank is empty and I want to get ideas. Was thinking some kind of star fish, maybe shrimp and goby pair, six line wrasse, and yellow head jaw fish. Let me know what you think tank is a 24 gal nanocube

We have Fromia starfish on a standard 29g and doing well.

Once they get established all the fish "for them to swim with" generally end up getting chased and attacked.
