I had no idea,shoot what diodes can you use ? I might have you make me one lol. Do you create your own pcb's or what ?

Evil clusters are amazing,I remember when they were suuuper popular back a few years ago. People had some killer arrays for sure.

Are you not active really on NR anymore,I'm sure people would love to see the build.

I design my own driver PCBs, and have designs for both LDD-L and LDD-H. 4up, 8up, and a few different versions depending on application. The LDD-H 8up that I designed has been working great for the last year over my 40 breeder with a full load out of drivers. I also have an LDD-L 4up over my freshwater nano doing great as well.

I lay out my own arrays using individual LED stars. I have a couple of blueAcro 8 led arrays but haven't used them after upgrading to my 40 breeder from a 20 long.

I ran a few different planted and reef nano setups for a while and found some pretty nice combos and then sort of scaled them up with more LEDs. I only have a 6 gallon planted nano and a 40 breeder reef as of right now until the 180 planted is underway and both run full DIY arrays.

For some reason the last couple years I've sort of lost interest in reefing but still really enjoy my 40 breeder, the only corals I've had in it for the last year or so are some GSP and a toadstool leather. Been too busy to pay much attention to it, but it's been pretty much trouble free other than some red slime algae that comes and goes and I'm sure that's due to my not doing frequent water changes or having any real nutrient export going on. I eventually plan to get back into LPS more but too busy with work to really stay on top of it.

Really,how much would you charge to make me a custom array if I sent you diodes ? I always wanted to try a BlueAcro array but nevergot around to buying on besides a few of his strips.

I hear that I lost intrest for awhile so I took a break and needed something again lol so I am back.

My brother-in-law had a 40g breeder planted tank and it was gorgeous,they are nice but just not for me honestly.

I stepped back from building for a while, just no real time that I can commit without losing track due to personal life and work schedules. Maybe in the future but I barely have time for my own projects anymore

So I managed to get 3 Luxeon M royal blues,I have been wanting to ply with these diodes for YEARS.

I also got some more Luxeon ES royals,another Viosys hyper violet,cool blue,2 more ldd's,a fan and all the connectors,thermal adhesive and solid core wire.

Here is the array so far. Been running for almost a week. 2 Lux m's and 5 violets from 390-430nm. Everything is at 600mah right now,but whenever I send my controllers to Coralux to get checked out,I am going to get a 1000mah ldd to power the M's and the violets will be on 600mah.

Did I did a thing,not that I needed the thing,but the thing was on sale lol:

I have no plans for this tank besides 1 idea I have and thats an acro pico. Either ask a guy at work 3d print me a AIO insert,or use a AC50 (with a AC20 impeller) and toss a bag of carbon and a heater in it. I know someone selling a MP10 for cheap and build a light for it !!!

But back to the regular tank,still chugging along. I used Photon lux app to take rough kinda par measurements and if what a person in the light forum is close to being correct,the conversion comes out to like 200ish par at the water surface as close as I could get without my phone being in the water.

So optics are probably needed,but I will need like 90-80* optics to not lose spread and have disco. I could definitely use to replace the reflectors on the T5's with a 48" one and cut it in half. The ones in the light now are eaten up with old salt spray.

I was playing with lowering the light,but then I would need a fan since eight now 9" off the water surface the my tank stays at 80.1-80.4 with leds and t5s on.

So I am going to build my own led bar for this and add the 2 t5's back. I was thinking of getting somthing like reefbrite,orphek ect ect but nothing truly fit the bill. All of which claim to be the best yada yada.

All I need is a heatsink,probably a StevesLed 18" sink and I am good. Will be controlled by a Coralux Storm controller and ldd's. Seoul Viosys,SemiLeds,Luxeon M and Luxeon Rebel ES. UV & violets probably driven at 500-600mah and the royals at either 700mah or 1A.

Heatsink from StevesLed to start my led bar.

I need to get a pair of Non Gobies. I know where I can get a pair of Neon's for $20 or a pair of Sharknose for $30 that are HUGEEEE,but from Petco (meh,I kinda wanna save these guys).

Let the tank kinda settle in for a few weeks and then start adding some sps. I am still waiting for a member on another forum to ship me a 2nd MP10 as well. One higher,one lower on 2 different modes on basically the 1st or 2nd dots.

I still need to drill a hole in my "stand" and run my surge protector/power strip cord thru it and mount all my stuff in my cubby,do some wire management and sit back and enjoy the tank I guess.

So all my stuff came in from my BF purchases and I tested NO3/PO4 and nada,nothing crystal clear all the snail and hermit poop hasn't built up enough lol. So I added 2ml of NeoPhos/Nitro earlier and tested once I got home (about 6hr difference from dosing to testing again) and nothing. Dosed 2 more ML and will test again later this afternoon. I am not trying to catch dino's lol no chance in hell thats happening.

So the endcap screws came stripped from LedGroubBuy on my makers heatsink and well Milad over there just sent me a whole new heatsink lol.

While StevesLed can't even get mt heatsink out I ordered on the 18th of last month..smgdh.
