Mixed reefs

Hi all !

Just wondering how much trust you all put into the compatibility charts that are floating around out there? Also wondering who has snowflake eels in their mixed reefs and what you keep for fish with them?

Hey im no expert or anything but i have a sfe and had him for a while... He doesnt bother any of my fish but when i feed the tank since he cant see thts the only time he may try to nip at them if i dnt have the tongs directly in front of him...(which is annoying lol) but once he realizes its a live fish he goes the other way... My tank is 120 and i have him with:

3 Cleaner wrasses, 1cleaner shrimp
1 turbo snail, Niger trigger, Tomato clown, Blue eyed Bristletooth tang
Longnose hawkfish, Purple firefish
Twinspot coris wrasse, 2 green chromis, Desjardini Sailfin tang and a Diamond goby and as for corals i have a Toadstool leather coral and
Green star polyps which he doesnt bother niether.

Compatibility charts are a good starting off point for a general idea, but once you have specific fish in mind, getting first hand info is best.

I have had snowflakes in reefs in the past. For the most part, fish weren't bothered. Inverts on the other hand...

Hate to say but if I'm intrigued by something I typically ask @eatbreakfast because of his knowledge. Depending on his response, I either move on or do further research.
