Mixing 2 Part and kalkwasser

Is there a benefit?

I leave for short periods of time 3-5 days fairly often and I thought it might be a good fail safe to run both. That way if my doser craps out or my kalkwasser doser craps out it wouldn't be as dramatic of a drop.

My other thought is to get a second dosing pump and run two different doser for 2 part.

I would love to hear your experience or opinions.

Tank is a 50g, mixed reef. I currently dose 15mL of two part a day. I would cut that down of course if I added kalk.

Kalk gives you that pH boost. If you have the smarts to balance out kalk dosing and vanilla two part dosing then stick to it.

Having two dosers doubles your chance of one failing so there's no redundancy unless one automatically does the job of both.
