Hey everyone!
I have mixed up some tropic Marin pro Reef salt.
If I am going to use it a few days from now, do I have to keep it heated and circulating? Or is it ok in the bucket with the lid on it and heat it back up before I use it?
Thanks.
Paul.
Also here is a picture you can look at for dealing with my questions lol

Hi Paul, I use that same salt and have for a year or so. I mix it, and then typically let it sit without heat or mixing. Tropic Marin Reef Pro mixes VERY cleanly, and then does not tend to precipitate things out even if sitting for a week or more.

So if you mix and intend to use within a week, I wouldn't sweat circulating it, though it won't hurt either.

Good luck!

I use TMP.
I mix and keep it for a long while. sometimes a month or more.
No heat just ambient temperature.

It does get stirred twice a day for 15 minutes at 6pm and 6am.
I have never had an issue with doing it this way.

The containers 300 gallon Norwesco, is always kept sealed up, and was sterilized completely before use, using the following method.
Washed with mild soap and water, rinsed completely three times, bleached, and rinsed three times, then rinsed with 91% Alcohol and allowed to air dry for 24 hours.
