who's done this in their tank? what's your experience. what nems did you mix together?

I got my magnifica and mertens in my 30g tank, marvin.
my mag is 2yrs old in my tank and mertens is 4mos old. They're right next to eah other, tentacles and all.

I have Aiptasia and Mojanos without issues. ;)

Seriously though I'd like to know as well. I usually see tanks with only one type of anemone. If they stung each other couldn't they just move away? Does allopathy come into play also?

That's to funny!

I tried (key word tried) mixing a sebae and a RBTA in a 55 gallon. The sebae takes up the center portion of the tank and the RBTA could never find a happy place. It's possible that the RBTA felt threatened by the sebae and was trying to escape it. :(

I've tried with success, these 2 are centered in my 200g

In the past I tried it with; S. haddoni & M. doreensis and S. haddoni & E. quadricolor. In both cases the S. haddoni would not stay put until the other anemone species was removed, this is even with heavy skimming and running carbon. At this point I will only do one species per tank -- have had success with multiples of the same species.

BTW, the tanks in question were a 58 and 75 gallon.

In my old 125g, I had a few BTAs, a sebae, & a maxi-mini without any issues. However, I kept a haddoni, a BTA, and a condylactis several years ago and the condy & BTA constantly moved.

I currently have a large magnifica and a ton of BTA's in the same tank without issue. If the Mag moves close to a BTA it moves with no issue.

I really would like to own a Magnifica one day. :)

i have a condy, an rbta, 4 long tenitcle, african yellow, and a rock flower nem they all get along fine

I have 2 RBTA's, purple long tentacle, green long tentacle, 2 sand anemones, 2 pink tube anemones, 1 purple/green tube anemone, and 3 maxi minis. Everyone gets along fine as long as they stay in place. I did lose a long tentacle about 6 months ago when the large pink anemone decided to move into its space and sting it.

I keep a very small Malu, 2 Rbta's, and 3 maxi mini's together in a 40b. I took the Malu in from a guy who bought it at the mall. I thought it would have died by now but my anemone crab seems to be helping it along. It has parked itself just under the Rbta's and they seem to be getting along fine. My maxi's don't bother anything as they never move.

I have a purple tip sebae and rose bulbs in my 70 cube,no problems
my 3 pearly eye clarki's wont even look at the rose.

I currently have 2 RBTA's , 1 large GBTA and a huge Leathery LT in my 160 gallon size 60"x30"x 22: tall. been there for 4 months, no issues yet. everyone of them when i first added to the tank moved once, and since have been set in place. Just keeping my fingers crossed, If the LTA starts moving, then i will have to put him in another tank. tank is 8 months old. plenty of LR .
