Mixing angels in an 180G

My 10 inch Dussemeri is a big baby bought him at 4 inches it just thinks about food .. all my tangs are pretty passive luckily ..
I swear, mine tries to eat the glass and any algae at the water level - Just never enough food for it

Based on experience ( and BTW - nice size specimens) - I would consider Blue line. Personifier can be a jerk and become non-stop once a bad behavior begins
But that would be just two of the same species and I thought the rule of thumb when it comes to mixing is odd numbers

The blueline is here. Time for QT.

yes - Odd numbers --- 1-3 -5 and so forth. You can mix same species , just not type in pairs. I have three fish groups currently with one of each with exception of yellow tangs and all cohabitate well

I have a pair of imperators smaller one finally changing to adult colors at 7 inches
Also have
Queen
Majestic
French
Blue line
Yellow
Blueface
Tried a passer and that did not work he beat the tar out of my bigger established majestic .. I think that’s all the angels I have laid up in bed after tricep surgery and on meds

But just no personifer as one of the three cuz of its possible bad temper?

How big is your tank and how is the personality & behavior of the blueline?

Any exp with personifer?

I believe many of the large angels do best in pairs, while it can vary for Centropyge / Paracentropyge. I guess trios could work in very large tanks, I think when @copps had his 180, he successfully had a trio of Regals together for a while.

400 .. blueline messes with no one but will get mad if messes with by any other fish no experience with a personifer was gonna add a pair of scribbles but my supplier lost them in qt

I have a 210g and have queen angle, blueface angle, emperor angle, goldflake angle, lemon peel angle, and flame angle and they all get along. I do have lots of caves and hiding spots in my rock work so maybe that helps.

Okay so I also have a 560g that has an established queen and emperor. Do you think I can still add angels like blueline and personifer that are smaller than them in?

Were the queen and emp the last ones that went it?

No the last fish was the goldflake (juvenile) and the flame angle which is a dwarf angle. They say the queen should be the last fish in tank if ever getting one but mine is totally fine with the tank mates. Maybe I just got lucky

Did you use an acclimation box?

Nope I honestly floated my bags with lights off for around 20_30 minutes and added fish. They are all curious at first of the new comer but them go separate way. I do feed right after adding a newbie to keep them somewhat occupied

Okay

My blueline developed popeye from flukes she went into Qt and treatment for 9 months and when I added her in with my imperators one was bigger and queen that was also I had zero issues with aggression imo you can I didn’t use a acclimation box I waited till I did a 30% water change and added her as I was filling the tank back up .. every fish can be different.. gl

Just for curiosity, why did you give the blueline angel such a long treatment?
