Mixing anthias

Would mixing two species of anthias (lyretail and purple queen) be a bad idea? like 8-10 of each in a large tank. Thanks

If you mean mixing in terms of inter species aggression, they’ll likely ignore each other. Lyretails (the bigger species) will be all consumed beating the crap out of each other. I would, however, steer clear of the purple queen. For all intents and purposes it’s impossible to keep alive for more than a few weeks. Just doesn’t eat.
