Would there be a problem with mixing baking soda and soda ash to try and achieve an increase in ph but not so drastic as soda ash alone? Since adding a co2 scrubber my skimmer pump is locking up every 2 weeks and I have my doser adding no more than 3ml at any one time. I would just change to baking soda but would rather have a somewhat positive effect on ph.

You can mix them in any ratio you want. Note the baking soda has lower solubility so the more of it you have the more dilute it needs to be.
