Mixing Baking Soda and Sodium hydroxide (Lye)

Hi Mr. Holmes-Farley. Using your recipe and Jim's recipe, I am wondering if I could mix 475.2g of Baking Soda and 56.56g of Sodium Hydroxide in a gallon of RO/DI water. this represents a 80/20 ratio. This is to offset the dangerously high ph of sodium hydroxide while maintaining the concentration of alkalinity of your recipe.

You can mix them, but not more concentrated than the solubility of sodium carbonate, which you could just use in the first place.
