Hello everyone,

I currently have a longnose butterfly and copperband in my tank, both are doing well and eating like champs. My lfs recently got in a pyramid butterfly. Would it be okay in my tank with the other butterflies?

It shouldn’t be a problem, how big is your tank? Mixing butterflies IMO usually isn’t a problem as long as the tank is big enough& the coloration between them are dissimilar, good luck

It's a 120, my copperband and longnose usually school together, especially when food is coming

You shouldn’t have an issue

I didn't think I would but rather ask and not risk a happy tank on what I thought. Thank you

I'd imagine it would be ok, but I'm definitely no expert. I'd suggest use a social acclimation box.

thanks, i just put him in my tank lights are out and everything so here's hoping. i guess my tank is turning into butterfly heaven
