Guess I got real lucky and I stayed within species bounds. But yeah my three clowns get along just fine for now. But they are still kids. 1false percula and the back and white pair. Ironically none of them will host the anemone. Just look at it l, swim 2" off of it, but never will they go in it. I don't get it. But yeah as long as everyone gets along I'm g2g. Sonic you're trying to mix clowns make sure the patterns are the same, also size matters.
Had a pair of the false percula but the smaller of the two got tail rot and died.

its possible you can mix any combo of clowns given enough space and any number of other variables. Four instance in my 210 I had a established pr of Black Saddlebacks, they were large. I added a pair of platinum perculas and a pair of Fiji Barberi. Well recently one Saddleback jumped out and a few days later the smaller percula jumped, so now I got a mixed lot and they all get along

I wonder if a giant(compared to the fries) 5" Clarke will be the next addition. Sole survivor of a tank that I refurbished into my aquarium. He lived in nothing but algea. He definitely has some serious fish issues, won't eat anything but flake, hides in rocks (guessing some wrasse-clownfish species confusion) and is ugly, like I've seen more attractive genital warts.

Eventually the clowns may pair off and single out the other. This happened to some Picasso’s in a display tank where I used to work. As for the anemone, they will go in it eventually. I believe clowns have to acclimate to the anemone, if they jump right in they can get eaten but that’s more common with carpet nems.

Hopefully it'll be a good battle, make me proud vailaint warriors! My hope is that the black pair claim the anemone. Then the orange well he can have the other side. Or my daughters tank.
There were 2 perculas but the other one got tail rot and died. (S)he was lonely here I come in with new friends. And it works. I expected immediate ribaldness, and was surprised by schooling. The perculas had their chance and if what I think happened the one percula got stung, the orange may not take the anemone for fear of his/her life. Idk, also my anem won't eat tilapia anymore. Picky bastfard. Eat sunlight biznitch!!!

The clown maybe go back to the anemone. I think they need to get stung in order for the anemone to accept the clown and build up a mucus coating (I think?) but not 100% certain

Idk how it happens, but yeah the anem is 6" diameter, the fish percula is maybe 1.5" and the black ones are about an 1". So they'd fit. But no dice. The closest the get is what 2" and then away they go...
