I have a HI-755 and accidentally bought some replacement reagents for HI-772-26 (past return date). Is it possible for me to use these? Or will I have to buy the correct one.

I was told both yes and no. "Yes", by saltwateraquarium.com, and "no", by a Hanna rep. I did try it with a HI772 checker and HI755 reagents with a .06 dkh difference. So, I don't know if you will get full clarity on this, but depending on your situation, it might be close enough.

Apologies, is it the HI775 or HI755? The HI775 appears to be freshwater.

Have you tried it?
if I got consistent results like the prior agent, yup I wo7ld use.

I got this from a friend! It is probably very old tester. It is the Hanna Alkalinity Marine Checker - HI 755. I accidentally messed up the numbers in the original question, but just edited it to make it right.

I would have to be cross checking it with another alk. checker.
