Mixing Dry rock with Live Rock

Hey guys so my question is pretty simple. I have a 60 gallon tank with 30pounds of live rock. If i mix dry rock will It eventually turn into live rock knowing I have live Rock in there already? ? im a newbie thabks in advance guys

As long as it's 10% at a time over a period of a month it should be OK so go slowly
