I’m wanting to start dosing kalk with the Neptune dos. My plan is to use 2 of the BRS thin space saver jugs. One for dosing and the other to mix up a new batch to dose. Can I simply take the 1 or 2 teaspoons of kalk add it to RODI in this container, shake it up and let it settle? Or is there another mixing solution I need to do?

That’s about it though.
Make sure you leave your tubing about 2” of the bottom as you want only dose as much as possible the clear water and not the kalk sludge in the bottom.

I agree that's a fine way to do it in a jug like that.

If you have a conductivity meter, you can judge if it is dissolved enough by conductivity. Saturation is a bit over 10 mS/cm.

Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated! Kalk is a new territory for me. I’m sure I’ll have more questions down the line!
