Mixing live rock with dry rock question

I just got a shipment of 40 lbs of live rock from KP Aquatics. The rock is currently curing in a separate tank. I have some left over Carib Sea Life Rock from my build and am wondering if I should just throw that in with the curing live rock? That should seed the dry rock correct?
