Mixing multiple zoanthid colors?

Hi everyone! I am going to be setting up a 2 gallon jar with - among other things - zoanthids. Can I put multiple zoanthid colors in the tank without issue? Also, will the zoanthids sting a gorgonian and a mushroom coral? Finally, what should I tell my friend I am giving the jar to so that he does not get palytoxin poisoning? Thanks

Yes you can add multiple zoas. Zoas are peaceful coral. You can’t get palytoxin poisoning unless you sniff a freshly fraged zoa or boil a rock with zoas on it .

Just keep you slower grower separates from super fast growing Paly’s. May want to research a bit as your stocking up. Most lfs or vendor will have the answers. I like to isolate some of the super fast growers to an island for they can over run some smaller zoa’s. I mix a lot of Zoa’s in my 180. Check out my build thread. I got a few.
