I'm dosing ammonium chloride and trisodium phosphate solutions- is there any reason I can't mix them together?

Mixing is fine, though protect from light or algae may grow, depending on how concentrated it is.

It may also smell of ammonia as the pH may be pretty high, so keep it tightly closed to prevent loss of ammonia.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but ... does this apply to diammonium phosphate as well. Can it be mixed in with ammonium chloride to make a combined solution?

Food grade diammonium phosphate is readily available and if permit-able, I am thinking it is a good choice for a combined N : P solution.

No concern other than algae may grow in it if not concentrated enough and kept in light.
