Mixing r.o. and saltwater, question

Hiya. I got 5 gal salt water and 5 gal r.o. , but, thankfully as previously suggested, i tested water b4 doing water.change. the salinity is a wee bit high. Can i mix r.o. with it to bring it down, and then measure or.thin it until i get.to 1.021/1.022? Im just double checking with u experts first. Thankyou, as always.

Im not an expert but yes you can dilute the salt water with R/O water
