I'm wanting to mix up about a litre of stock solution of each red sea foundation calcium and magnesium. I understand they're different concentrations.

I'd like a consistent concentration I can mix up as needed, but the demand of my tank is pretty minimal right now so I don't really want to mix up and store multiple litres of each.

I found this thread, but the poster immediately said his own calculations were incorrect. Can anyone please help me with the correct concentration?

Also - how long can I store the stock solution?

I’m not clear on what you want to do that is different than the standard directions. You can dissolve these additive on any size scale you want, and they are stable indefinitely.

Oh I see the problem - I must have lost my instructions out of the box, but I see it has instructions for mixing a litre of stock solution. Thanks!

I'm mixing it also, was curious if we are supposed to shake it up so the carbon dioxide goes away? Or is that supposed to be left in there?
