I have had my tank full of RO/DI water for a couple of weeks running -To make sure everything was working properly and no leaks. My question is can I mix my salt in the water in the tank-there is nothing in it. Or do I need to drain it and put premixed water back in. Is there some reason I can't mix it in the tank, the first time?

For the first time I added salt right into my tank, as far as I know should not be any problem just make sure that it has all disolved and mixed before adding anything to it.

Yes you sure can! :)

Yep! You can mix it into the tank. If you have a sump, I would add the salt there with a few powerheads.
